Service Description

Creyos ADHD test What it is. Creyos is a digitised cognitive assessment platform that combines brief, game‑like cognitive tasks with validated questionnaires to profile attention, inhibition, working memory and other executive functions relevant to ADHD. It is designed for use with children, adolescents and adults in clinic or remotely. How it works Format. The assessment typically takes under 25 minutes when the full battery is used and can be completed in‑clinic or remotely on a computer. Tasks are short (2–3 minutes each), interactive, and scored automatically against large, age‑matched normative datasets to produce domain‑level results. The battery can include the Sustained Attention to Response Task (SART) alongside other validated cognitive tasks and questionnaires. Key benefits • Objective, quantitative data. Creyos provides measurable markers of attention, inhibition, working memory and processing speed that complement subjective rating scales and clinical interviews. • Efficient triage and throughput. A full evaluation can be completed quickly, helping services reduce wait times and prioritise referrals. • Clinical decision support. Domain‑level reports translate task performance into actionable insights that clinicians can use alongside DSM‑5 criteria to improve diagnostic confidence and treatment planning. • Differential clarity. Objective cognitive profiles can help distinguish ADHD from other conditions with overlapping symptoms (for example anxiety or learning differences), reducing the risk of misdiagnosis. • Trackable outcomes. Repeatable tasks allow clinicians to monitor symptom change over time and evaluate treatment response. Limitations and role in diagnosis Not a standalone diagnosis. Creyos is a screening and profiling tool that supplies objective cognitive data; it does not replace a full clinical assessment. A formal ADHD diagnosis still requires a comprehensive clinical history, multi‑informant rating scales, and clinical judgement. Creyos is best used to support diagnostic decisions, prioritise referrals, and guide targeted interventions. Practical next steps • Share Creyos results with your clinician or school to inform accommodations and next steps.
