After working with ADHD Taskforce we got the NHS Web Site Changed
One of the key aims of the Charity was to get a change to the NHS Website when it comes to ADHD. There was no mention ADHD and the risks of Addiction and Suicide which are key risks within the condition.
If we had known this then Matthews story may have bene different.
Our Key message is getting the facts and risks out there. We do not want to scare people with the condition but we do want to make significant risks and the facts about these available so everyone can be informed.
Following an interview with ADHD UK as part of the Global ADHD Conference we got invited to join the NHS Taskforce on ADHD.
We have been lobbying as part of the taskforce to bring about the change to include these key two topics. These were agreed and have come into effect
